How to write an addressee in a business letter

FAQ

FAQ

How should I write the To block in a business letter?

Enter the organization, recipient position and full name. The generator will assemble a clean To block and use known position forms where available.

Can the tool handle the position together with the name?

Yes, common positions are converted into a suitable dative form. Names are handled cautiously, and ambiguous cases should be checked manually.

Why does the tool show warnings?

Warnings appear when the name is incomplete, gender is unknown, the position is not in the dictionary or the surname may be undeclinable.

Can I use the result in an official document?

Yes, as a prepared draft for a letter, application, order or power of attorney. Always review ambiguous names and positions before sending or printing.

How is this different from a name declension tool?

It prepares the full document block: To, From, Salutation and letter text. It is closer to a business letter helper than a pure declension tool.

How does bulk processing work?

Paste up to 50 rows with name, position and organization into the text area. The result can be downloaded as CSV.

Will DOCX export be available?

Yes, DOCX export is available. Click the 'Download DOCX' button — the document with addressee, sender, greeting and template will be saved to a file.

What should I do if a surname is undeclinable?

Leave the surname unchanged and review the wording manually. The tool highlights several ambiguous or undeclinable surname patterns.
